Happy Chinese New Year! It’s a special one to me, being born in the year of the Rooster. So here’s a piece to celebrate, and perhaps the start of a new series

The year of the rooster includes 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017, and 2029 and those lucky folks are meant to be hard-working, independent, sociable, active, organised, punctual and observant (as well as boastful, arrogant, impatient and vain). I’m not sure this entirely lines up with me (punctual/organised haha…) though for everyone it is meant to be a year of progress and hard work while sticking to the practical path.
